Registered Nurse has over 12 years working experience. Experience: Responsible for Initiating and Providing Med Care Plan,Nursing Flow Sheet,Admission/Discharging Patients. Med Pass,Pain Management Responsible for overseeing the delivery of resident care by supervising personnel caring for the elderly, chronically ill, and those with rehabilitative and palliative needs. Monitors and problem-solves to ensure that care will be provided with dignity to meet the customers biopsychosocial and spiritual needs and to ensure a comfortable environment Vital Signs, Phlebotomy, Injection, Ivy’s, Urinalysis, EKG, Holter monitors, Treadmills, Med Refills, Callbacks, Autoclaving, Venipuncture, Wound check, Splint and Bandages, Re-stocking Meds, Case Management, Assisting Medical Necessity for Prescription, Triaged, Evaluate and assess patient condition in Trauma situations including motor vehicle accidents and gunshot /stab wounds. Carry out prescribed medical treatments/procedures, initiate catheters IV’s and work closely with physicians and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care. Monitor and chart patient condition/vital signs, administer Ivy fluids/medication, and transport patient to radiology dept. operating room or ICU, communicate with family to apprise them with patient’s condition and answer question. Schedule, supervise and mentor nursing staff, distribute patient care assignments, and notify supervisor of staffing issues. Maintain medical charts at unit desk and communicate patient updates to physicians and incoming charged nurse.
